Have you wanted to act for years, but work, family, or people telling you it’s ridiculous kept getting in the way? Now you’re in your 40s or 50s and wondering if you missed your chance. I didn’t start acting until I was 29, with a completely different career planned. Over the past 40-plus years, I’ve booked nearly 1,300 acting and modeling jobs. Here’s what I want you to know before you decide it’s too late.

IN THIS VIDEO YOU WILL LEARN:

  • What kind of acting and modeling work is out there for people in their 40s, 50s and beyond, including jobs most people don’t know exist

  • The formula I used to build my career, no matter what others told me

  • Why starting later can actually give you an advantage over actors who start young

  • How John Mahoney, the dad on Frasier, proves it’s not too late

YPES OF ACTING AND MODELING WORK

TV commercials – local, regional and national spots. This is where I got my start. Extra work for film and TV shows Training films – also called corporate and industrial films. Actors deliver important information for a company or organization.

I’ve done hundreds of these for the Navy and other branches of the military, telecommunication companies and other organizations. Standardized patient jobs – helping medical students and residents learn to examine and talk with patients

Commercial modeling jobs – still photos used in magazine and newspaper ads, on billboards, posters and more. They need people of all ages, types and looks.
